Fair Trade Power board members (2012)
The Hong Kong Fair Trade Power (HKFTP) is a social enterprise solely owned by the non-profit “Fair Trade Power”. “Fair Trade Power” is led by a managing board of seven members:

Chairman:
Anthony Chiu
After years of tireless devotion to his own career since graduating from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Chiu decided to set out a world expedition in 2004. From Antarctica to the Arctic, he traversed the two poles and three American continents from in a year. He deemed it a journey of self-discovery, and published a book sharing his insight into poverty. Currently as the Director of HKFTO, Chiu now endeavors to fair trade advocacy in Hong Kong and China.


Members:

Mr Sung Ming Chow
Being a CUHK graduate once active in the student union and political groups, Chow continued his concern for social issues as news and book editor. He was the editorial writer for the Hong Kong Economic Times and Sing Pao; his commentaries were published on Ming Pao and Hong Kong Economic Journal etc. In recent years he joined OXFAM and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and focuses on fair trade in mainland China, corporate social responsibility, and social enterprises. He authored and edited books on community economy, globalization, trade and consumption.

Ms Gloria Wong
Before dedicating herself to village development effort with an international poverty aid group, Gloria had been in the education sector and pastoral service. The change was inspired by Christians she met in a South American church who applied faith and caused impressive change in their own community.   Wong joined HKFTP in 2011, with a hope to transform the society with her faith continuously.

Graduated from CUHK, currently a trade businessman.

Simon Lau

Chi-Hing Kee
Kee was the former Corporate Vice President of Hewlett-Packard and Managing Director of Hewlett-Packard Hong Kong where he had worked for 26 years before his retirement. Now he is a member of the Social Enterprise Advisory Committee under Home Affair Bureau, co-opted member of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund Task Force under the Commission of Poverty, and co-opted member of Strategy Advisory Committee Digital Inclusion Task Force under the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer.

Kee was a part-time lecturer for MBA program of the Hong Kong Baptist University and for the Master of Social Work program at the City University of Hong Kong. He authored numerous books on social enterprise, business ethics and faith.

Kee received his first degree of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, and completed TGMP at Havard Business School. After retirement he keeps pursuing knowledge ceaselessly, obtaining a master’s degree in Christian Studies from CUHK and now studying PhD in Education in the University of Nottingham.
